The Oberhasli Goat Club (OGC) will sponsor East Coast Regional
Oberhasli Specialty Show to be held at the Cleveland County Fair
Grounds in Shelby, NC on Friday – June 3, 2016. The show will be
sanctioned for Sr. Does; Jr. Does; and Bucks. The judge is Steve
Considine from Graton, CA. This is a separate Oberhasli Only show being
held Friday before the Evin Evans Spring shows on Saturday and Sunday
(June 4th & 5th). This is FIVE sanctioned shows for Oberhasli
Does, Jrs, and Bucks on the same 3-day weekend! The schedule is for
arrivals on Thursday (there is also a one day Milk Test – first milk
out Thursday evening). Friday will be the Oberhasli Specialty show
(time to be determined) for Does, Jr Does, and bucks. That evening, the
OGC will host a hospitality cover dish get-together for all exhibitors.
Friday evening will be the first two rings of the Evin Evans Spring
BUCK Show. Saturday will be two rings Does, Jr Does, and the final two
rings for Bucks. Sunday will be two rings Does, and Jr. Does.
In addition to the ADGA rosettes, the OGC will provide awards for all
class winners, Grand, Reserve, BoB, BU, and Group Classes in the
Specialty Show.
The host clubs for the Evin Evans Spring Show always have a great
Raffle Table, and this year there will be plenty of Oberhasli items for
the raffle.
